Sunspheres™ 03.0

Optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica microspheres specially engineered for optimum dispersion in paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These microspheres increase corrosion and impact resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including mar and scratch resistance. Ideally suited for specialty applications where mechanical and rheological properties are required. Median particle size of 3 to 4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 92% passing 22 microns.

Sunspheres™ 15.0

Optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica microspheres specially engineered for paints, coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These microspheres increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion and impact resistance, and enhance surface qualities including mar and scratch resistance. The Sunspheres™ 15.0 have a median particle size of approximately 15.0 microns, with 90% of particles passing 45 microns.

Sunspheres™ 200 Nm

Sunspheres™ 200 Nm are optically clear, solid fused amorphous microspheres designed for use in a wide variety of coatings, inks, adhesives, powder coatings, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These sub-micron sized spheres can be used to improve physical and mechanical properties including reduced shrinkage, improved adhesion, impact resistance, and enhanced surface qualities such as hardness, mar and scratch resistance. The average particle size is 200 nanometers and range in size from about 50 nm to 500 nm.

Sunspheres™ 200 Nm ST-3

The Sunspheres™ 200 Nm ST- 3 are surface treated*, optically clear, solid fused amorphous microspheres designed for optimum dispersion in coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. Cured films show enhanced physical and mechanical properties including increased corrosion resistance, reduced shrinkage, improved adhesion, and enhanced surface qualities such as mar and scratch resistance. This product is particularly useful in improving impact resistance. The average particle size is 200 nanometers and range in size from 50 to 500 nm.

Sunspheres™ 32.0

The Sunspheres™ 32.0 are optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica microspheres specially engineered for paints, liquid and powder coatings, inks, adhesives, thermoplastics and composites. These microspheres increase impact resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities such as mar and scratch resistance. The ceramic nature of the product makes composites hard and durable.  The Sunspheres™ 32.0 have a median particle size of 32 microns with 95% of particles passing 65 microns.

Sunspacers™ 04.X

Sunspacers™ 04.X are finely divided, optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica micronized powders. This product is specially engineered for paints, liquid and powder coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These micronized powders increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including abrasion, mar and scratch resistance. Sunspacers™ 04.X have a median particle size of approximately 3-4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 13 microns.
